8 months...

       8 months, sigh, already, our little man turned 8 months last Thursday! I feel like I am going to turn around and he will be turning 18 it is going bay way too fast people, way too fast! He has learned to crawl, but only backwards right now. It is so cute it looks like he is doing the baby moonwalk. I know its only a matter of time before he will be making his way all over the place forwards of course. He has learned to eat vanilla wafers which he LOVES! Buddy and Cricket really have become the best of friends, it is beyond adorable to watch. When we wake up I spread a big blanket out for Lil E to play on during the day and the first one on the blanket is Cricket waiting for me to put out all of Buddy's toys which she thinks are hers also. Buddy is so sweet in sharing he will pick up one of his toys and wave it in front of her to get her to play. Cricket is the most perfect pet I could ever dream of especially when she is around Lil E. Whenever he is crying she comes running and she is there when we feed him and follows us to his room when we put him down for bed she plays most of the day with him or just lays on his blanket watching him it makes my heart smile to see them interact :)

soooo cold

Hellooo Monday, a cold, cold Monday. We had a good weekend spent most of it indoors because it was sleeting/slightly snowing!! So we made the most of playing indoors with Buddy and watched movies, Inception being one I HIGHLY recommend! Hope everyone is staying warm out there and is having a great start to the week!

2011...

    Happy New Year everyone! A couple days late of course. Things have been quiet around here since we have been back. Our New Year's Eve was low key, we spent most of  it in the laundry room as we had tornados! It was insane they were too close for comfort so all four of us (Cricket included) were jammed in the laundry room with every pillow in the house surrounding us. Luckily the tornado did not hit us but we had lots of flooding and horrible storms. Once those past Buddy went to bed around 7 and then we started our Modern Family DVD marathon. Brian gave me the first season for Christmas ( for those who do not know about it, it is the GREATEST show on TV right now in my opinion the best I have ever seen) we enjoyed ringing in 2011 watching the hilarious episodes. It comes on Wednesday nights on ABC and I highly recommend you tune in! So not the most exciting New Year's but probably the best one I have ever had. I hope everyone enjoyed theirs as well and are enjoying the new year so far!
